Dancebelts are part of the required and expected uniform for boys and men in all forms of dance. A dancebelt is the dance version of a gym-class or sports athletic-supporter, helping to protect the dancer from injury, and keeping everything 'tucked away' properly and discreetly. The Dance Trunks offered here are intended for younger boys who may not be entirely comfortable yet with 'dressing-out' in the standard dance uniform. Yes, a dancebelt feels uncomfortable at first (but you DO get used to it). And believe us, the first time a ballerina's knee catches you in just the wrong place during Pas de Deux class, you'll be grateful for the extra protection of that dancebelt! M. Stevens' Milliskin is a blend of 77% nylon and 23% lycra. It's a thin and form-fitting stretch material that is extremely comfortable. White Milliskin can be easily dyed to nearly any color! M. Stevens' Cotton/Poly-blend is 55% cotton, 35% polyester, and 10% lycra, in an 11.25oz weight. Additional Services Custom Dying - we can custom-dye nearly any garment, including tights, leotards, unitards, dance belts, and canvas ballet shoes, to your color specifications.
