Some Advice About Dancebelts vs. Trunks (based on experience!)

Dancebelts are part of the required and expected uniform for boys and men in all forms of dance. A dancebelt is the dance version of a gym-class or sports athletic-supporter, helping to protect the dancer from injury, and keeping everything 'tucked away' properly and discreetly. The Dance Trunks offered here are intended for younger boys who may not be entirely comfortable yet with 'dressing-out' in the standard dance uniform. Yes, a dancebelt feels uncomfortable at first (but you DO get used to it). And believe us, the first time a ballerina's knee catches you in just the wrong place during Pas de Deux class, you'll be grateful for the extra protection of that dancebelt!

Ballet Shoes
Leather Split-Sole (BL208M) is preferred. You may subsitute Leather Full-Sole (BL205G) if the BL208M is not available in a small-enough size.
In some cases, the largest-size BL205G may be too small and the smallest-size BL208M may be too large. You can substitute the Womens version of BL208, but you should call us to help get the sizing right.

Bloch ballet shoe sizing for Children's sizes corresponds very closely to US Street shoe sizes. The widths A-D correspond to Narrow, Medium, Wide, X-Wide. Leather shoes will stretch-to-fit somewhat.
