Rose and Chaton Montées Rhinestones

Montées are rhinestones that come pre-mounted in a special metal 'cup' that allows you to securely sew the stone to the material, or to string them together with thread or millinery wire to create a strand of stones or to hand-wire a tiara.

Both of these types of stone are perfect for use in creating hand-wired Jeweled Tiaras!


Rose Montées Rhinestones
are Round Flat-Back rhinestones that are pre-mounted in a very flat 'cup' that allows you to securely sew the stone to the material from 4 directions.

Chaton Montées Rhinestones
are Round Pointed-Back rhinestones that are pre-mounted in a 'cup' that allows you to securely sew the stone to the material from 4 directions.
(The 'cup' is not shown in the picture at left).
