Multi-Tier Ruffled Spanish Skirt

The design is passionate and exciting, with just the right amount of 'Latin flair'!

This skirt is a great style for 'Kitri' from "Don Quixote", 'Spanish' from "Nutcracker", and lots of other Spanish and Latin-style choreography.

The full-circle under-skirt is built on a basque, in your choice of 3 or 4 tiers. With 12 yards of sparkle organza (more or less), and 40 yards of ruffled lace (more or less), the result is very full and flowing, and moves beautifully.

You will construct the skirt and attached basque in class, and you can then easily add a 6-, 8-, 10-, 12-, or 16-piece bodice to complete your skirt into a beautiful, fully-finished dress (you'd add the bodice later, not as part of this class).

We supply the pattern, instructions, all fabrics, and all the ruffled-lace you will need.

And just for your information, a completed dress like this would normally cost several hundred dollars, depending on decoration, trim, etc.

Please note:
1) - depending on your skill and experience level, the multiple tiers of ruffles can require a lot of time to complete (you may not completely finish your skirt in class).
2) - this workshop does NOT include bodice instruction. The course is designed to work in conjunction with our 'Bodice Construction' or 'Bodice Design, Patterning, and Construction' seminars.
