Tutu.com Ballet Costume Rental Inquiry Form

In order to start the process of renting costumes, we need you to do the following:

1. Watch our YouTube Video on Rentals, How it Works. Read the Sample Tutu.com Rental Contract to make sure you understand our policies.
2. If, AFTER reading the contract, you decide you want to pursue a rental, fill out our Rental Inquiry Form or email the following to claudia@tutu.com:
3. First & Last Name of person responsible (Same person must sign the contract and pay for the rental). YOU MUST BE 21 years or older to fill out the reservation Form & Sign Contract.
4. Email of person responsible for rental.
5. Phone number of person responsible for rental.
6. Billing Address (Street, City, State, Zip).
7. Shipping Address, if different than billing address (Street, City, State, Zip). We only rent/ship to addresses in the contiguous USA due to customs and shipping length. 
8. EXACT date that you need the costume(s) in hand – NOT JUST THE PERFORMANCE DATE. 
9. EXACT date you will ship it back. We need to know exactly how long the costume will be out of stock in order to quote you a price.
10. Bust/Chest, Waist, Hip Measurements.
11. What the costume(s) will be used for (YAGP, Nutcracker, photo shoot, movie, etc).
12. Once we have all this information, we will email you pictures of what costumes that will fit the dancer(s) are available during your time frame. We do not send pictures until we have this information.
13. Once a contract has been emailed, customers have 48 hours to sign and return it. If not returned in 48 hours, the hold on the costume is released.

$150 Minimum Rental Fee.

Dancers should never measure themselves. Do not add “growing room” to measurements OR subtract from actual measurements for anticipated weight loss.  We make each costume with as much “wiggle room” for change as is possible considering the complexity of the design.

To process a rental, we need a signed contract and credit card payment. Contract must be returned to us signed at least seven days before the commencement of the rental, not to be considered a rush order. Any last minute rentals not set up and paid for at least seven days in advance will incur a rush fee on top of the normal rental fee. We need time to inspect, clean and refurbish costumes between rentals and shorter turn-around times necessitates we go into over-time to administer them properly. We have two levels of Rush fees: Rentals done within six days of shipment will incur a last-minute rental fee of $50. Rentals done within 24 hours of when the costume must leave here, will incur a last-minute rental fee of $100. Download Tutu.com's Rental Contract. Once Tutu.com emails a contract, customers have 48 hours to sign and return it. If not returned in 48 hours, the hold on the costume is released.

A cleaning fee of $25 is due with contract.

At the time of rental, we authorize a returnable deposit of $300 to $500 on a credit card of your choice. Your deposit is returned once the rental arrives back at the costume shop, less any late fees or damage fees. Normal wear and tear is expected, especially with pas de deux work (Tutus are high maintenance!).

Shipping fees both ways are paid by client, in advance, once the costume has been packed and weighed. We will send a return label in the box. A reduced rental rate of $12.50 is charged on shipping days.

Tutu.com Rentals are shipped USPS Express both ways, (1-2 days).  Express Shipping averages between $40 and $50, but can be more or less.  It depends on where the rental is going and what you rent. In our many years of experience shipping rentals, we've found USPS Express with one to two-day delivery to be the most cost-effective and efficient method for both the renter and Tutu.com.
